Vocabulary Development

Pre-K children come to school with a variety of experiences and knowledge of vocabulary. Math lessons as well as experiences both in and outside of the classroom foster the development of children's mathematical skills and vocabulary. As children build correct usage of mathematical language, they increase their confidence in mathematical knowledge and in the world around them.
